MUTA
MUTA is the trade association for the UK temporary structures industry, representing over 100 manufacturers and hirers of traditional and frame marquees, tipis, and a variety of other temporary structures. The Association has produced an HSE-supported code of practice and runs the health and safety accreditation scheme MUTAmarq.
MUTAmarq accreditation demonstrates to customers that a company complies with the highest professional standards of on-site procedures and practices, structural integrity, fire safety and flame retardancy, and is subject to regular inspection.
MUTA, representing the wider technical textiles sector, also runs PIPA, a health and safety accreditation scheme for inflatable play equipment.
