Diamond Event Services is proud to announce that it has won two prestigious awards at the recent Scottish Event Awards, which was held at the Radisson Hotel in Glasgow on the 6th of September. The company, which provides event personnel and services across Scotland and the North of England, was named Best Event Services Supplier and was also awarded the Event Services Grand Prix.

The judging panel gave Diamond the Suppliers award “for overcoming challenges and becoming an established business”, while the company secured the Grand Prix because it stood out from all the other service entries and had “family, determination and dedication behind it.”

“We work so hard to deliver the best possible event services that it is wonderful to be acknowledged by our peers in the industry,” said John Diamond in response to the judges’ comments. “It shows that the high-quality of the events we’re involved with really demonstrates what we’re capable of.”

To receive the awards the Diamond team joined over 350 event industry professionals for the prize giving in Glasgow. The Scottish Event Awards is a dynamic and exciting event, now in its fifth successful year. Awards are made across a broad range of categories and are contested by the leading names in the events business.

The awards were judged by an experienced panel from some of the UK’s leading event management companies. The judges included Nicky Wrighte, Commercial Director at KDM Events and Paul Bush OBE, the Chief Operating Officer of EventScotland, Scotland’s National Events Agency.
