Anglo – Australian Partnership Set To Take The Industry By Storm

Two leading mobile and solar powered monitoring and visual information systems providers have partnered with Colour Mobile VMS to form MVIS (Mobile Visual Information Systems).

MVIS, led by Managing Director Tony Price, who became a pioneering force in bringing innovative colour mobile VMS signs to theUK, will be partnered with fellow Derbyshire company, transport technology contractor P&D Specialist Services Ltd and Australian manufacturer of the portable solar traffic equipment, Bartco Traffic Equipment.

Of the launch of MVIS, MD Tony Price said: I am delighted to announce this new partnership. It combines all of our strengths, including 25 years ITS (Intelligent Transport Solutions) experience with P&D Specialist Services and Bartco’s 15 years experience manufacturing colour mobile VMS signs and innovative Research & Development.”

Colour Mobile VMS was the first company in theUKto supply colour solar powered mobile VMS systems, manufactured by Bartco Traffic Equipment, to the traffic management, events and advertising sectors.  MVIS will continue to distribute these products, along with a much wider VMS range, including vehicle mounted and permanent pole mounted variants. In addition to VMS products, MVIS also offer environmentally friendly lighting solutions, and a range of CCTV and Smart Sensor radar solutions mounted on solar platforms.

MVIS maintains long-term contracts across managed motorway projects, airports and police forces, along with major festivals and events and advertising organisations.  Colour Mobile VMS Ltd, P&D Specialist Services Ltd and Bartco have just delivered what is believed to be the largest single deployment of solar powered VMS signs in the world for Transport forLondon(TfL) along the city’s Olympic Route Network (ORN), for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
