We believe that this free programme of courses will assist our colleagues in the live events industry in answering the challenge of best practice, whilst keeping their costs down. We are really excited that we have already been asked to provide these free training courses to LeeFest Music Festival this year.”
The Event Training Centre will be training the volunteer workforce at LeeFest including the barstaff and stewarding team. The Event Training Centre specialises in delivering vocational course to the entertainment and retails industries. Understanding the specific needs of volunteer powered events, The Event Training Centre have designed the delivery of this programme to suit onsite training to minimise the impact on the operations of the event.
The funded course programme is designed to help event organisers to answer some of the four licensing objectives laid out in the licensing act.
