protouch securityScunthorpe’s largest private security employer, ProTouch Security Ltd, are one of the finalists of the Event Production Awards 2012, in the category of Security Company of the Year.

The Scunthorpe-based security firm was established in 2008 by Tommy Atkin, who started his career in the army, and then left due to injury and went into the security industry.

“It’s a pleasure to be recognized with the best security providers in the UK after three years of hard work,” says Tommy. “Whether we come first or last out of the six finalists, it’s a massive achievement for us to be nominated, and gives my team and myself a huge sense of pride in regards to our commitment in the security industry.”

ProTouch Security was actually nominated for the award by one of their clients, Sygma Safety, as a result of their commitment to the events they have worked on.

“This makes it even more special for us,” continues Tommy. “Not only would we never really have thought of entering the awards ourselves, but it is a great recommendation from a valued client, and an even greater testimonial that we have reached the finals for the UK.”

ProTouch Security work globally, nationally and regionally, delivering cost-effective and efficient security solutions to businesses and private clients.

“Security is an issue that everyone is more aware of nowadays, and with the experienced team I have, we can offer all types of event security including door supervisors, response teams, stewards, health and safety managers, as well as event managers and event kit,” explains Tommy.

We have experienced 385% growth as a result of doing things right and ensuring repeat custom as a result of professionalism. We are deliberately different.

The Event Production Awards 2012 take place at the Hilton on Park Lane in London on 1st February.
