Showmans Show Preview
The Showman’s Show is almost upon us again and this year there is a new addition to the Lance family team; Johnny Lance. As for all the members of the Lance family, The Showman’s Show has been a big part of Johnny’s life but until recently not directly. In the last few years Johnny has been involved on the periphery of the Show as one of the stewards hosting the judges for the Stand Awards. However, from April this year Johnny became a fully fledged member of the organising team, so you can look forward to seeing a new face in the Show Office to assist you wherever needed throughout the whole event.
As always the exhibitor list promises visitors some of the best products and services on the market today. There are a number of new exhibitors that include: Planet Gold Decor, who will transform any large event space into something out of this world; Batmink, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of professional sound and lighting equipment and Media Structures, suppliers of temporary structures that will amaze and inspire.
The Showman’s Show has family at its heart and several exhibitors, having exhibited at the Show for many years, have become part of that family. It has been interesting to observe how these companies have evolved and shaped the face of the event industry over the years. There will be lots of familiar faces again this year including: Power Electrics, Eve Trakway, ID&C Ltd, Daytona Stage Hire, Miltec and all the way from New Zealand, Baytex Manufacturing, all of whom are sure to put on an exceptional display.
The event industry is made up of many sectors: festivals; concerts, county shows, sporting events, the list goes on and within that there are numerous subdivisions including: event management services, sound and lighting technology, staging systems, furniture hire, mobile toilets, waste disposal, temporary roadways and bridges, when brought together provides the whole that formulates a successful event. The Showman’s Show’s outdoor venue is the perfect space for this broad spectrum of exhibitors to display their products in the way they would be used and seen at an actual event, presenting visitors with the ultimate event experience and giving the Show an overall eclectic feel.
The Showman’s Show will open its doors on Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th October at Newbury Showground in Berkshire.
