ESSA increases international presence by joining IFES.

Event Services Association ESSA has joined the International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services (IFES) as part of its commitment to increase the international representation of UK based member companies, a key issue raised at the ESSA G50 2010.

“Feedback from the G50 identified that there was a greater need for international representation and a voice for ESSA on this wider platform. We have been given an opportunity to address the IFES members at EuroShop and we will be using this opportunity to extend the reach of the Use an ESSA Member Campaign.” explains ESSA Director Chris Skeith.

IFES has two stands at EuropShop 2011 in Dusseldorf – G64 and G80 in Hall 9 where it will be representing its 133 members from over 32 countries. There will be presentations from three National Association Partners: AMPROFEC from Mexico, ESSA from the UK and HAEEC from Greece.

“Most ESSA members are operating on an international basis, joining IFES and the opportunity to present at EuroShop enables us to take the ESSA message out to a much wider audience.” concluded Skeith.
