Central Hall Westminster wins annual Hospitality Assured award

Central Hall WestminsterCentral Hall Westminster proudly walked away from the annual Hospitality Assured awards with the Team of the Year award in hand. In house caterer Kudos Hospitality forms an integral part of the hospitality team providing catering services for over 2K events per annum. The awards ceremony was held at The Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington and formed part of the Institute of Hospitality’s annual lunch with guest speaker Peter Lederer, Managing Director of Gleneagles Hotel and President of the Institute of Hospitality.

Managing Director of Kudos Hospitality Jon Pryce said “this award is testament to the relationship that has been developed between Central Hall and Kudos. To keep information flowing freely between all elements of an event and delivering customer’s expectations is vital. With the 3 ISO’s we have achieved it is important to us to maintain a high level of staff training to ensure the needs of the venue and the end client are always met.”

The deciding criteria for the winner of Team of the Year 2009 was the element of improvement between assessments, making the award specific to clients being assessed for at least a second time. Central Hall Westminster improved overall in their scores by the same percentage amount as Lucknam Park Hotel, therefore forming two winners for this category. Both provide a varied offering requiring excellent management and leadership skills in addition to their committed and motivated teams.
