Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre Appoints Showsec

Showsec has been selected as the new venue security supplier at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC), building on the company’s success in Scotland, where it is offering clients a fresh alternative for venue and event security services.

AECC undertook a stringent evaluation process to satisfy themselves that Showsec met their high standards. Since opening the company’s Edinburgh office in 2009 Showsec has supplied a range of events and venues and has established a new team of security professionals in Scotland. Showsec’s Northern regional manager Alan Wallace is responsible for the venue, with key support from Scott Anderson, Senior Operations Executive. Steve Dyker has been appointed as the new Aberdeen area Operations Executive and Philip Nurse, based in Edinburgh, is a Scottish based Academy Associate, proficient in the most up-to date events security procedures.
