Beach Break Live relocates to a new home in Wales
Beach Break Live organisers have announced a new venue for 2010 after licensing issues forced the event from its original Cornwall home.
The festival will now take place at Pembrey Country Park in Carmarthenshire in South Wales.
The new site, which is next to the award winning dunes of Cefn Sidan Sands beach, also has acres of forest and boasts a 130m floodlit dry ski slope offering Snowboard or ski lessons and student friendly ‘cheap as chips’ board and boot hire.
It also has one of the biggest toboggan runs in Europe, the ‘Go Ape’ in the trees woodland adventure playground extravaganza, horse riding, surfing, wind sports, Sphere Mania and coasteering.
Speaking about the new site, festival organiser Ian Forshew said; “We’ve been able to scour the UK’s coast line to find the perfect permanent home for the event. Students asked for an event ‘As close to a beach as possible’, with ‘beautiful surroundings’, ‘hidden areas’, ‘stages on the sand’ and ‘good sound levels’. At Pembrey Country Park we can give them all that.”

The residents of Pembrey and Burry Port will not stand for this event.
It is a travesty against a protected nature reserve.

so never mind the revenue that the area will generate from this… youd rather hug a tree than provide people with jobs and let small businesses in the area continue to struggle.
