The Meeting Room has been created to offer a creative space for people who are accustomed to or want to meet in a stimulating and cosmopolitan environment. Just over 2 hours from London, 50 minutes from Manchester and 40 from Leeds it’s a central gathering spot with excellent City links making it easy to broaden horizons. The Chimney House has been created to invite creative thought, generate ideas, bolster moral as well as being intuitive to professional needs and flexible to evoke innovation, productivity and job satisfaction.

Created for those who have a need to or who are accustomed to hosting professional, educational or social occasions or events in a place that reflects their brand and image.

An intriguing and luxurious environment made so with a unique building, fascinating interior design, architectural lighting, open fires, exposed brick work, beams and original features. The interior lends itself to all styles and influences from faded glamour and Boho Chic to luxurious Art Deco to timeless design classic furniture and love of random and beautiful things.

Not forgetting the iconic 93ft chimney soaring straight through the floor and out of the roof to look out high above Sheffield a poignant reminder of the rolling mills heritage of the building illustrated perfectly by the fact that the Chimney House was once the home to an elephant called Sarah who was used as a fork-lift truck in the mills! The waterways of the original mill race or Goit run past The Chimney House doorway. The area is intriguing and richly haunted by the work and industry that shaped a nation.

Over the last 8 months the building has been restored using skilled Sheffield artisans. As part of the restoration, as recognition to the heritage of the building and the area as much as possible materials have been recycled, hand polished and sustainably sourced. Chimney House owners travelled the UK to search out architectural, industrial and vintage finds for those who seek inspiration from their meeting room.
