Venuefinder.com and blue&green book get new look

venuefinderThe latest edition of the event organisers ‘bible’, blue&green is now available. Featuring a fresh new look and some exciting changes the 2010 directory is guaranteed to be a useful resource that event organisers will refer back to time and time again.

Kate Hewitt, Associate Publisher commented

This year the directory has a brand new look. We listened to what our advertisers and users wanted and through an independent research company we have improved venuefinder.com / blue&green by amalgamating the two directories into one easy-to-use volume. All free entries have been removed from the book to give our advertising venues maximum exposure and we have increased the print run to 15,000 copies, allowing more people in the industry access to the book.

Venuefinder.com the leading venue finding service from Confex Group also has a host of new functionalities.

“Venuefinder.com has benefitted from further investment over the course of 2009 with new features being added. These include virtual tours, a new content management system, improved statistics for our advertisers and the ability to add editorial features and press releases to the site. These new developments dramatically improves the experience of our users, of which we have over 28,000 ABCe audited users each month” adds Hewitt.

With new venues being added daily Event Organisers now have the opportunity to select from over 8,100 venues within the UK and Ireland as well as over 3,800 international venues.

“We have invested considerably over the last year in developing a new database to run our website. The development demonstrates a continued commitment to venuefinder.com / blue&green and places us in a very strong position for the future” said Hewitt.
