Eat To The Beat at V Festival

Eat To The Beat (ETTB), part of the Global Infusion Group, has added the prestigious V Festival in Chelmsford to its expansive festival rosta, alongside Glastonbury, Leeds, Reading, Big Chill, Latitude, Download, Lovebox and the Hyde Park series of shows.

With over 15 years music catering experience, team leader Susie D’Andrea managed her 45 strong crew to take on the impressive task of serving over 12,000 meals during the 12 days on site. Not only did ETTB sustain the army of production crew throughout the set up and de-rig, they also served a wide variety of meals to the numerous artists and successfully delivered over 40 different dressing room riders each day.

Head Chef Gemma Hammond produced a hugely varied menu selection and cooked her way through a massive 2.3 tonnes of meat! All of this was topped off with yummy desserts including cupcakes, chocolate brownies, orange & poppy seed muffins and exotic fruit to keep spirits high backstage!

An additional flavour of luxury was added by ETTB who arranged a professional barista coffee service for the artists, serving them everything from an Americano to a Skinny Chi Tea Latte Frappé to order.

Eat to the Beat’s Operations Director Mary Shelley-Smith said: “What a great festival – the sun was shining down all weekend and everyone was in good form! It’s great to see so many of our regular touring clients performing together on the festival circuit. We’ve had a fantastic season and will be finishing off this year with Reading, Leeds and another first for us: Bestival.”
