Festival bosses are also proposing to increase the number of “early arrivals” from 7,500 to 20,000.

Currently the festival sells 78,500 tickets with 4,999 guests and this year’s festival is completely sold out.

It is not yet known whether extra camping provision will be made to coincide with this proposed increase in numbers.
