Creamfields festival scoops 2009 Tourism Event of the Year award
CREAMFIELDS festival has been named as Tourism Event Of The Year at The Mersey Partnership Tourism Awards 2009. The Daresbury dance event, to be held on August 29 and 30, fought off the British Open Golf Championships, Tate Liverpool, Klimt and Liverpool Philharmonic Hall. Athletes have been left in anticipation by event organiser Urbanrace after a mysterious announcement appeared on their website today (1 July 2009).
