Mysterious Countdown for Urbanrace

Athletes have been left in anticipation by event organiser Urbanrace after a mysterious announcement appeared on their website today (1 July 2009).

The South East based organiser of The Sussex Triathlon and The Brighton Triathlon have posted a note on their website homepage which declares a new event will be launched in five days time. The announcement comes complete with a numbered countdown logo.

A telephone call to Urbanrace only reveals an answer message which simply reveals a cryptic message saying “T minus 5 days to something new and wacky”. A few clues were found on the Urbanrace Twitter website with one post declaring: “Jump to it”

Further enquiries to the Urbanrace event management team were inconclusive and we wait to see what will appear in the coming days.
