Lighting in Every Event – TowerLight Supply Event Rental Specialists

TowerLight, the Italy based commercial lighting specialists, have confirmed an order for a fleet of their very latest lighting product, the Hydropowercube, from Racor, the Belgium based event rental specialists.

This brand new lighting system has been devised for the outside event market, offering specific advantages for the industry, and Racor where quick to snap up the first batch from the TowerLight production line.

“Transport costs, stability on site, extra-long run fuel systems, with a simple and quick operation, have been pointed out to us, as the principal requirements for the outside events industry,” said TowerLight’s international sales manager, Paul Hay. “Therefore we equipped the Hydropowercube with a series of features and benefits that address these individual demands.”

The Hydropowercube has a vertical telescopic mast reaching a maximum height of 8.5 metres and the complete unit is secured via four, adjustable, stabilisers. The mast is hydraulically raised by a single lever and can be rotated through 340° ensuring that the light is targeted correctly. Illumination is provided from four 1000w metal halide lamps and the power is generated by a super-silent 1500-rpm water-cooled diesel engine. There is a useful 9.0kVA of auxiliary power and the Hydropowercube has been safely wind tested up 80 Km/h. Four corner-lifting eyes have been included for swift dispatch and unloading.

With compact closed dimensions of just 1330 x 1225 x 2330mm and weighing in at only 1180kg, an operator can deliver up to twenty Hydropowercubes on one single truck. The extra large 200-litre fuel tank means that the site will stay correctly illuminated for up to 32 hours without the need for refuelling.

Racor provide a range of equipment and rental services to the European outside event markets from their base in Meerhout, Belgium. The Hydropowercube will compliment their current range of lighting sets.

TowerLight have been manufacturing lighting sets from their manufacturing base in northern Italy for the past 12 years and they are represented in the UK by two of the most highly experienced and prominent lighting specialists – Paul Hay and Ray Caulfield.
