Technical issues with a generator cause Oasis to abandon stage

| June 5, 2009 | 0 Comments More

70,000 fans were promised refunds by Oasis after some technical issues caused Oasis to abandon the stage at their concert in Manchester, England on Thursday night (4th June ’09). A generator had caused the problem and engineers were trying to fix it.

Liam Gallagher told the crowd, “Really sorry about that. This is a free gig now. Everyone will get a refund.” And his brother Noel added, “The curfew’s 11, but we’ll play until they kick us off. Keep your ticket and you’ll get your money back.”
