Homecoming Festival cancelled!

| April 17, 2009 | 1 Comment More

THE HOMECOMING Festival at Irvine Beach Park has been sensationally scrapped with just weeks to go.

Tens of thousands of music fans were expected at the two day event on May 2 and 3 to see acts such as Reverend and the Makers and superstar DJ Armin van Buuren.

Speaking this morning one of the festival’s organiser’s Grant Ruxton said: “We’re in the process of issuing a statement which we’ll circulate.

“It’s come as a real shock as we’ve all worked so hard. On a personal level I’m gutted”.
