Keen response for 2012 Round Britain Race event
Despite being four year away the response from offshore competitors following the announcement of the 2012 event during the London Boat Show has been outstanding.
“We had several enquiries within the first four days of our announcement, “said event organiser, Neil McGrigor. We even had three from abroad which is great encouragement.”
The number has since risen to over 30 and while several could later withdraw as circumstances change a fleet maximum of 50 boats is almost certain to be surpassed. Early entry is therefore highly recommended.
